Post-Doctoral Researcher At LIST
Éloi is a postdoctoral researcher in the Visualization and Interaction group at LIST, under the supervision of Mohammad GHONIEM.
After studying biology and bioinformatics at the Engineering Faculty of Life Sciences of Toulouse (INP-ENSAT, FR) I focused on bio-visualisation. I obtained my PhD in Genetics and Genomics from Univ. Montpellier (FR) in 2022 with his thesis “Design of novel visual representations and tools applied to plant pan-genome visualisation”.
Embracing the visualisation component of my research, I shifted from tackling gaps in pan-genome graphs visualisation to handling network visualisation for digital humanities.
As part of the D4H Doctoral Training Unit, I research novel ways of representing and visualising multilayer networks from collections of documents and humanities data, on single and large high-resolution displays.
