Summer school

Lesbos Time Machine

From the 15th to the 22nd of June 2025, the DTU D4H organises a one-week Summer School at the Metochi Study Centre, located on the Greek Island of Lesbos.
This one-week event brings together the PhD students of the D4H DTU, who come from a variegate range of fields in history, humanities, social and computer science, to collaborate on the creation of a digital “Lesbos Time Machine”.

An Infrastructure for Reparative Democracy: An Agenda for Evidence From Below

On the 25 March 2025, 11.00 – 12.00, black Box Jo Guldi from Emory University, author of The Dangerous Art of Text Mining and The History Manifesto will be giving a talk that explores the concept of “reparative democracy,” as articulated by Wendy Brown, in the context of contemporary struggles over information, governance, and justice followed by an informal chat.
